Red Dead Redemption, one of Rockstar Games’s most awarded titles, was launched this Tuesday (2) on new platforms. The game is now available for free to Netflix subscribers on iOS and Android devices. The version also arrived on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 with technical improvements.
The Undead Nightmare expansion comes with the main pack on all platforms. Owners of the PlayStation 4 versions, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch receive a free digital upgrade. Saved progress can be transferred to new consoles.
Rockstar announced the launch in partnership with the studios Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games. The new versions include full content from the Game of the Year edition. The title returns to the PlayStation Plus catalog and enters the GTA+ library.
What’s new in mobile versions
The arrival on mobile marks the first time that Red Dead Redemption can be played on handheld devices outside of the Nintendo ecosystem. The controls have been adapted for touch screens.

PlayStation 4 players upgrade directly to the PS5 version via the console’s library. No Xbox Series X|S, just download the new edition at Microsoft Store. Para or Nintendo Switch 2, you must apply the upgrade package available in the eShop.

Technical details by platform
PlayStation 5 offers native 4K resolution with HDR and faster loading times thanks to the custom SSD. Xbox Series X follows the same technical standard with an additional Quick Resume.
Xbox Series S runs at an upscaled 1440p with a locked 60 FPS. Nintendo Switch 2 surprises with DLSS support and 4K dock mode when connected to the TV.
The mobile version prioritizes stability on mid-range devices. More powerful Modelos automatically activate high performance mode that raises the frame rate above 60 FPS.
Contents included in the package
The release brings the complete experience originally released in 2010. The main campaign lasts around 20 hours in the main story.
Undead Nightmare adds 8 more hours of content with new campaign. Estão presents all the costumes, weapons and challenges from the Game of the Year edition.
Multiplayer was not included in this version. Rockstar has chosen to maintain only the full single-player mode on all current platforms.
