Universal Audio released the Paradise Guitar Studio plugin this week. The new software brings together emulations of iconic amplifiers and an extensive collection of effects. The launch took place on Monday, December 2, 2025.

The pack includes models of Fender, Marshall, Vox AC30 and four variations of the legendary Dumble. Cada amp comes with interchangeable cabinet and microphone options. The promotional launch price is US$149.

Key features of the new plugin

The Paradise allows up to ten simultaneous pedals, divided into five before and five after the amp. The list features six classic distortions, seven modulations, four delays, four reverbs and famous UA compressors.

  • Cabinets and microphones can be freely combined
  • Adjustable room tone control per channel
  • Hundreds of ready-made presets included
  • Large, intuitive interface with prominent buttons

The plugin inherits the emulation technology already used in the brand’s UAFX pedals.

Sound quality receives immediate praise

Users especially highlight the fidelity of the Dumble model. The four available versions reproduce different configurations of the North American boutique amp. The internal adjustment feature of capacitors and trimpots increases realism.

The room simulation also draws attention due to its naturalness. The sound captured by the virtual microphones includes convincing reflections from the environment. Fast Testes showcase crystal-clear clean tones and creamy overdrives characteristic of the original.

Comparison with direct competitors

The Paradise competes directly with NeuralDSP, Polychrome DSP and Amplitube. Universal Audio bets on the recognized quality of its studio emulations. The package delivers full versions of 1176 compressors, tape delays and Lexicon reverbs within the same plugin.

The leaner interface avoids the excessive complexity of some rivals. The focus is on offering useful options without overwhelming the musician with endless menus.

Price and current availability

Regular price will be $299 after promotional period. Clientes who already have UA amp plugins have an upgrade discount for US$79. The company usually runs bigger promotions throughout the year.

The software works on macOS and Windows in VST3, AU and AAX formats. Requer compatible audio interface and iLok authorization (cloud or pen drive).

Initial market reception

Guitarists report immediate satisfaction with the tones obtained directly from the interface. Gravações demos range from the clean sounds of Fender Twin to the heavy distortion of Marshall 4×12. The plugin already appears in lists of the best releases of December 2025.

The combination of high sound quality and practicality of use positions the Paradise as a strong candidate for the current reference in amplifier simulation.
