Former players Cafu, captain of the Brazilian penta, and Claudio Caniggia, Argentine idol, arrive at Dhaka on December 11th to participate in the Latin-Bangla Super Cup. The event starts this Friday (6) at Estádio Nacional of Bangladesh and brings together under-20 teams from Brasil and Argentina against a local team made up of athletes from the Bangladesh under-17 team.
The AF Boxing Promotion International organization confirmed that the two former athletes will travel together and remain in the capital until the 13th. The visit is part of the three-game friendly tournament schedule.

The championship starts this Friday, at 7pm local time (10am on Brasília), with Red Green Future Star, a team that represents
On Sunday (8), the Bangladeshi team plays against Atlético Charlone, a neighborhood club in Buenos Aires that plays in local tournaments and friendlies in Argentina.
The decision is scheduled for December 11th, when São Bernardo and Charlone face each other. Todos games take place on Estádio Nacional of Dhaka.

The Red Green Future Star team brings together 19 players who defended Bangladesh in the AFC Sub-17 Asian Cup qualifiers held recently at China.
The squad was assembled especially for the tournament and serves as preparation for future competitions in the country’s youth category.
The director of AF Boxing, Asaduzzaman, stated that the main objective is to motivate young local athletes by providing direct contact with global idols.

The combination of international football and cultural attractions seeks to increase attendance during the three-day event.
The organizer reported that part of the revenue comes from ticket sales and sponsorships to cover travel costs for legends and foreign delegations.
Legacy of visitors in Copas of Mundo
Cafu played four Copas of Mundo for the Brazilian team and lifted the cup as captain in 2002, in Coreia of Sul and Japão. He is the player with the most hopscotch matches (142).
Caniggia participated in three Mundiais for Argentina (1990, 1994 and 2002) and scored important goals, including in the quarter-final against Brasil in 1990.
The presence of the two former players together reinforces the symbolic nature of the event in a country where Brasil and Argentina share almost all the fans.
