The first permanent outdoor theme park Pokémon of Japão was presented to the press this Monday (26) at Parque of The space, called PokéPark Kanto, occupies around 2.6 hectares and is divided into two main areas: Floresta Pokémon and Cidade and Snakestalk. The official opening will take place soon, with all details being revealed in the coming days.
The main attraction of Floresta Pokémon is a hiking trail of approximately 500 meters, where visitors will be able to observe several Pokémon in natural settings. Já to Cidade from Snakestalk contains themed shops and interactive attractions. The project seeks to create an immersive experience, allowing the public to interact with the characters in an outdoor environment.
Parade marks presentation to the press
During the preview held this Monday, visitors watched a parade with Pikachu, Eevee and other Pokémon. The characters marched and danced along the route, entertaining the audience.
The presentation included demonstrations of the main areas of the park. Equipes from the location explained how the Pokémon were positioned in the forest and urban area to create a feeling of harmonious coexistence.
Park structure
PokéPark Kanto was designed to offer a different experience from existing indoor spaces. The total area of 2.6 hectares allows greater integration with nature.
The Floresta Pokémon occupies most of the land and was designed to provide peaceful walks. Já to Cidade from Snakestalk concentrates services and interaction points closer to the public.
The division into two distinct zones facilitates circulation and helps organize the flow of visitors.
The layout was designed to suit both families and the franchise’s most dedicated fans.
Management expectations
Tatsuya Ohno, general manager of PokéPark Kanto LLC, highlighted the main objective of the project during the press conference. Ele stated that the intention is to allow visitors to encounter Pokémon both in the forest and in the city, promoting natural and fun interaction.
According to Ohno, the park was designed so that people can walk, observe and engage with the characters spontaneously. The expectation is that the space will become a new reference point for Pokémon fans in the Kanto region.
Forest experience
The 500-meter trail was built amidst the existing vegetation in Yomiuriland. The route was designed to be accessible to different ages and has clear signage.
Pokémon appear at strategic points along the way, creating moments of surprise for walkers. The setting seeks to reproduce the natural habitat of the franchise’s characters.
The walk allows visitors to observe the Pokémon in real forest settings, unlike conventional indoor attractions.
Attractions on Cidade from Snakestalk
The urban area brings together stores with products exclusive to the park. Há also spaces dedicated to interactive activities with the characters.
The Cidade by Snakestalk was designed to complement the forest experience, offering moments of shopping and rest. The environment maintains the Pokémon theme, with detailed decoration.
Visitors will be able to find items commemorating the opening and products related to the most popular Pokémon.

More details about tickets, opening times and specific attractions will be released before the official opening date. The park is located within Parque of Diversões Yomiuriland, in the city of Inagi, province of Tóquio.
Management reported that PokéPark Kanto will operate in Japanese local time. The space is expected to attract both residents of the metropolitan region and national and international tourists.
The project represents the first permanent outdoor initiative of the Pokémon brand at Japão, expanding thematic leisure options in the country.
