The mobile technology sector turns its attention to the Asian market with the imminent arrival of a new device that promises to establish new design and portability parameters. With a launch date confirmed for January 20th, the new Motorola model stands out for its refined construction engineering, featuring a chassis with a thickness of just 5.25 millimeters. The equipment arrives to compete in the premium segment, weighing 186 grams and using a metal structure specifically developed to maintain structural rigidity, even with such small dimensions.

Advanced resistance and military approval

One of the great differences of this launch lies in the combination of an extremely thin body with durability rarely seen in conventional smartphones. The manufacturer invested in sealing technologies that guaranteed the device IP68 and IP69 certifications. Estas ratings indicate that the device not only withstands submersion in water, but is also resistant to high-pressure jets and elevated temperatures, offering an extra layer of safety for everyday use.

In addition to protection against water and dust, the model obtained the GJB150 military certification. Este seal certifies that the system has been subjected to rigorous physical stress tests, including sudden variations in temperature, atmospheric pressure and vibration. Tal feature positions the product as a viable alternative for users who need a robust device for challenging environments, without giving up the elegance and lightness of a minimalist design.

Processing power and artificial intelligence

At the heart of the device operates the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform, developed by Qualcomm with 3 nanometer lithography. Este chipset represents the latest in energy efficiency and calculation capacity, being designed to handle complex artificial intelligence tasks natively. Resource management is handled by the Android 16 operating system, which brings specific optimizations for the latest generation hardware.

To ensure fluidity in multitasking and heavy games, the smartphone will be available in robust memory configurations. Consumers will be able to choose versions with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM in the LPDDR5X standard, known for its high transfer speed. The internal storage follows the UFS 4.1 standard, with a capacity that can reach up to 1 TB, ensuring enough space for large files and the installation of multiple applications, in addition to supporting 5G networks and the new Wi-Fi 7 protocol.

Visual experience and biometric security

The device’s visual interface is delivered through a 6.78-inch curved OLED panel, manufactured with BOE Q10 material. Esta screen technology offers 1.5K resolution, providing sharp images and vibrant colors with intense brightness. The 120 Hz refresh rate is another strong point, ensuring smooth transitions during browsing and greater responsiveness in games and video playback.

The security of user data has been reinforced with the implementation of an ultrasonic biometric sensor positioned under the display. Diferente than traditional optical sensors, this technology allows instantaneous and precise unlocking of the device even when the user’s fingers are wet or dirty, increasing practicality in daily use and eliminating common reading errors in adverse situations.

Photographic system and energy autonomy

The camera suite is designed to suit photography enthusiasts and content creators. The main 50 MP sensor has a gimbal-type stabilization system, capable of correcting shakes of up to 3.5 degrees, which results in more stable videos and night photos with greater clarity. The rear arrangement is complemented by an ultrawide lens and a telephoto lens, both also with 50 MP, offering consistency in image quality at different focal lengths and support for 8K recording.

To support this entire set of hardware in such a thin body, a high energy density battery with a capacity of 5,200 mAh was used. The power system supports 90W fast charging via cable, allowing the device to recover much of its charge in a few minutes. Além Furthermore, the model is compatible with 50W wireless charging, offering versatility and convenience for the user, all managed by an advanced thermal system that prevents overheating during recharging.
