The sixth season of the hero shooter, titled Night at the Museum, marks the debut of a new gameplay mechanic starting January 16th. The new character introduced to the cast brings the exclusive ability to transition between three different roles — Duelista, Vanguarda and Essa flexibility allows teams to adapt their compositions dynamically without the need to replace the selected hero.

The combatant’s arsenal includes dual pistols for ranged confrontations and katanas for melee combat, with the possibility of immediate switching between weapons. Independentemente of the currently chosen class, the character maintains essential fixed attributes, such as passive health regeneration and the double jump ability, ensuring constant mobility and sustainability on the battlefield.

Evolution system and play style

One of the main innovations linked to the character is the intra-match progression system, based on the player’s stylized performance. Performing specific actions and eliminations generates experience points that unlock a menu of enhancements, accessible via a dedicated key. Esse feature allows you to evolve active skills, increasing the hero’s impact as the confrontation unfolds.

Available upgrades vary depending on the role you are currently playing, but progress is not lost when switching roles. The system adapts previously made investments to the new chosen class, requiring the player to manage the time between combat and navigating the improvement menus.

To maintain competitive balance and avoid the predominance of a single strategy, the game implemented specific restrictions and operating rules:

  • Modifying the hero class is restricted exclusively to the team’s spawn zone.
  • Only one Deadpool is allowed per team in competitive and ranked modes.
  • Primary weapons retain their basic functionality across all configurations.
  • Skill upgrades are shaped by individual performance during the round.

Role-specific skills

When set to Duelista, the character’s focus is on high mobility and massive damage. The ability “Headshot!” uses katanas as rotating projectiles that return to the launcher, hitting multiple targets along the way. Para flank opponents, the “Hazardous Hijinks” offers a quick slashing advance, whose recharge is reset when connecting blows, encouraging an aggressive and sequential style of play.

In the Vanguarda role, durability and area control become a priority. The hero gains a significantly greater health reserve and uses the “Unicorn Plushie” to project a shield capable of blocking projectiles and protecting allies. Essa setup turns the character into a robust frontline, capable of absorbing damage while maintaining offensive pressure with his basic attacks.

The role of Estrategista converts offensive potential into direct support for the team. Tanto Pistol shots and katana strikes now apply healing to affected allies, allowing the player to alternate between damaging enemies and restoring the health of teammates. The presence of area skills reinforces the team’s support for disputed objectives.

Synergies and impact on the meta

The introduction of this hero also brings a new “Team-Up” dynamic in partnership with Jeff the Land Shark. A habilidade conjunta, denominada “Mr. Pool’s Interdimensional Toy Box”, faz com que o tubarão cuspa um objeto que gera uma zona de cura para aliados e causa interferência visual nos oponentes. Essa automatic interaction reinforces the usefulness of both characters in compositions that prioritize territorial control.

Analysts of the competitive scenario predict that the new member’s versatility will change mid-game strategies. The ability to adjust tactical role without losing ultimate charge or character progression provides an extra layer of depth, allowing for quick responses to opposing tactics. Mapas with accentuated verticality should favor the hero’s use due to his innate mobility.
