Nothing announced this Wednesday the official launch of the Phone (4a) and the Phone (4a) Pro, two mid-range smartphones that bring advances in materials, performance and the brand’s exclusive interface. The devices were presented at an event in Londres and highlight the Phone (4a) Pro as the most premium version of the (a)-series family to date. Ambos runs Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 and is guaranteed three major operating system updates and six years of security patches. Sales begin in March in several markets, including the unprecedented entry of the Pro into the Estados Unidos.
The devices share a 5,080 mAh battery (with a 5,400 mAh variant exclusive to the Índia), 50 W fast wired charging and Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front screen. Nothing claims that the battery maintains at least 90% of its original capacity after 1,200 full charge cycles. Internal storage uses UFS 3.1 technology on both models for greater read and write speeds.
Premium construction on model Pro
The Phone (4a) Pro adopts an aluminum unibody chassis, with a thickness reduced to 7.95 mm. Essa metal structure improves rigidity and thermal dissipation thanks to an integrated 5,300 mm² vapor chamber. The standard model maintains a reinforced plastic body and measures 8.55 mm thick.
Resistance certification varies between versions. The Pro reaches IP65, allowing immersion in up to 25 cm of fresh water for 20 minutes. The Phone (4a) is IP64, with protection against low pressure water jets and dust.

The display of the Phone (4a) Pro is a 6.83-inch OLED with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144 Peak brightness reaches 5,000 nits and PWM dimming operates at 2,160Hz to reduce eye fatigue in dark environments.
The Phone (4a) features a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1,224 x 2,720 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Maximum brightness reaches 4,500 nits. Ambos models support HDR10+ and Ultra HDR content.
Almost the same camera configuration
The triple rear is made up of a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor (120 degree field) and a 32 MP front sensor on both devices. The Phone (4a)
The standard model equips the Samsung GN9 sensor on the main one and records in 4K 30 fps without the full Ultra XDR, limiting this feature to 1080p 30 fps. The Pro adds a 50MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical and up to 7x hybrid zoom.

Performance with new processors
The Phone (4a) Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 7 Memory options include LPDDR5X (8GB or 12GB) and 128GB or 256GB storage.
The Phone (4a) uses Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, with more modest improvements of 7% in CPU and GPU, as well as 10% in energy efficiency. Ele offers LPDDR4X RAM (8 GB or 12 GB) and storage of up to 256 GB in the high-end configuration.
Glyph Interface receives improvements
The Phone (4a) Esse system allows for personalized notifications and more elaborate visual effects.
The Phone (4a) maintains the Glyph Bar with 63 bar-shaped LEDs, reaching 3,500 nits and a 40% increase in brightness compared to the previous model. The Glyph interface continues to be the brand’s differentiating point for bright and practical interactions.
Pricing and availability by market
Presales for the Phone (4a) begin on March 5th, with sales opening from March 13th. The Phone (4a) Pro goes on pre-sale on March 13th and hits stores on March 27th. Prices vary depending on the region and configuration chosen.
At Europa, the Phone (4a) starts at €350 (8/128 GB) and reaches €430 (12/256 GB). The Pro starts at €480 (8/128 GB) and goes up to €550 (12/256 GB). Na Índia, the standard model starts at ₹32,000 and the Pro at ₹40,000. Nos Estados Unidos, the Pro will start at US$500.
The Nothing reinforces the strategy of offering premium construction and features in the mid-range with the Phone (4a) Pro, expanding its global presence by entering the North American market for the first time in this product family.
