Toyota Yaris Cross continues to have a waiting list of up to three months for Brasil. Demand has remained high since the model’s launch in November 2025, with hybrid versions being the most sought after by dealerships across the country.
A new consultation carried out in April confirmed that the delivery deadline had not changed in relation to withdrawals made in January. The situation is especially critical for configurations equipped with the 111 horsepower flex hybrid package. Algumas stores don’t even have units available in the showroom.
Versões hybrids drive demand
Full hybrid options (HEV) are the most sought after by customers at the dealerships consulted in São Paulo, Rio, Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia and Curitiba. Interest in this technology significantly exceeds the demand for combustion-only versions.
Models with a flex engine can offer a differentiated proposal in the compact SUV segment, combining energy efficiency with the flexibility of using ethanol or gasoline. Essa combination explains the extended queue for these specific configurations.
Disponibilidade by configuration
Combustion versions are more available at dealerships. Muitas stores can deliver these models the following month after purchase or within 30 days at most.
Algumas dealerships have ready delivery in specific colors:
- Preto Infinito
- Azul Netuno
- Cinza Granito
Essas units are ready to leave the showroom immediately, no customer waiting required. Availability varies depending on location and stock policy of each store.
Aposta from Toyota for compact segment
The Yaris Cross arrived on the Brazilian market as a strategic bet by the brand in the growing segment of compact SUVs. Desde November 2025, the model won the preference of consumers looking for greater space, ground clearance and versatility compared to traditional sedans.
The waiting list demonstrates that the strategy was successful. Mesmo After five months of launch, the Toyota is unable to meet all the demand from customers interested in hybrid versions, mainly. The scenario reflects both the perceived quality of the product and the scarcity of affordable hybrid models in this market range.
Estratégia production and import
The fact that the waiting list lasted three months suggests that the volume of production or imports of the model still does not fully keep up with demand in the Brazilian market. Consultadas dealerships in five states show a homogeneous scenario, indicating that the bottleneck is not regional, but structural in the brand’s supply chain.
Clientes who wish to carry a unit with hybrid configurations must be prepared to wait at least 90 days. Esse deadline tends to vary depending on the color chosen, the finishing options and the backlog of orders accumulated in each store.
