Motorola introduced the Razr Fold, its first booklet-style foldable smartphone. The device features an 8.1-inch internal screen with carbon silicon technology and a 6,000 mAh battery. The global launch is scheduled for May 2026, with an international price of 1,999 euros, which corresponds to approximately 11,773 reais in direct conversion.
The device competes in the premium segment of foldable devices, equipped with an Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera. Anatel has already certified the model, paving the way for its arrival on the Brazilian market soon, although the final date and price have not yet been defined.
8.1-inch indoor Tela with 6,200 nits peak brightness
The main display measures 8.1 inches with a resolution of 2,484 x 2,232 pixels. Utiliza pOLED LTPO technology, enabling Hz refresh rate of 120 and maximum brightness of 6,200 nits. The panel supports HDR10+, ensuring vibrant colors in compatible content.
When opening the Razr Fold, the user has access to a compact tablet. In laptop mode, multiple applications can be used simultaneously. Stainless steel hinge design reduces screen fold visibility. The external screen measures 6.6 inches with a resolution of 2,520 x 1,080 pixels, a rate of 165 Hz and a maximum brightness of 6 thousand nits. Proteção with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protects the daily panel.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 powers Razr Fold. The octa-core chip reaches a maximum speed of 3.8 GHz in three nanometers. Motorola offers 16 GB of RAM, with the possibility of virtual expansion via Boost RAM technology.
Internal storage starts at 512 GB and goes up to 1 TB, without a memory card slot. In tests such as AnTuTu, performance approaches the highest current rates. The user can run heavy games, edit videos and multitask without crashing. The Hello UX interface runs Android 16, promising seven years of operating system updates and seven years of security fixes.
6,000 mAh Bateria with 80 W fast charging
The 6,000 mAh capacity makes the Razr Fold stand out among foldables. Carbon silicon technology improves energy efficiency, maintaining autonomy even on large screens. Wired Carregamento reaches 80 W, while wireless reaches 50 W. 5 W reverse Carregamento is also available.
Testes initials indicate good duration in mixed use. Segundo the manufacturer, with 12 minutes plugged in, the device offers up to 12 hours of battery life in light scenarios. The weight is 243 grams. Fechado, measures 10.1mm thick, reducing to 4.7mm when opened.
Sistema triple 50 megapixel cameras with DXOMARK certification
The rear integrates three 50 megapixel sensors. The main one has f/1.6 aperture, optical image stabilization and multidirectional PDAF focus. The ultra-wide angle covers 122 degrees of field of view. The telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom with OIS.
DXOMARK considers this the most advanced system ever tested on a foldable. The balanced exposure, color balance and good detail are outstanding features. Vídeo in 8K is possible at 30 fps on the rear. The internal front camera is 32 megapixels, while the external one offers 20 megapixels when the device is closed.

Fast Carregamento allows for up to three hours of continuous use. Palm rejection prevents accidental touches while writing.
The device has already received certification from Anatel, signaling entry into the Brazilian market soon. The international price of 1,999 euros serves as a reference, but the final price on the Brasil may vary depending on taxes and commercial margins.
