Heavy metal fans in Curitiba didn’t have to wait long. Ticket sales for the Iron Maiden show in the capital of Paraná began this Thursday morning, May 21st. The performance is part of the Run For Your Lives world tour, which celebrates five decades of the British band’s career.
Iron Maiden returns to Curitiba after years of waiting by the local public. The chosen date is October 28, 2026, a Wednesday, on Arena of Baixada. The event marks the end of Sul’s tour promotions on América.
Setlist prioritizes classics from early albums
Bruce Dickinson said that the repertoire will highlight tracks from the group’s nine initial albums. Clássicos as The Trooper, Run to the Hills, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Powerslave and Wasted Years should gain guaranteed space. The strategy reinforces the commemorative nature of the tour, which rescues the sound that consolidated Iron Maiden in the genre.
Fãs await variations on stage, with visual elements characteristic of the band. Eddie, the mascot, is expected to appear in grand productions, as on previous tours. The current lineup features Steve Harris on bass, Adrian Smith, Dave Murray and Janick Gers on guitars, as well as Nicko McBrain on drums.

Alter Bridge opens the night at Arena by Baixada
American group Alter Bridge takes the stage first. Conhecido for hits such as Blackbird, Isolation and Metalingus, the quartet shares the stage with Iron Maiden also in São Paulo’s shows. The combination pleases heavy rock fans, who will see two strong bands in a row.
Alter Bridge’s show is scheduled for 7:10 pm. Iron Maiden enters around 8:50 pm. Portões open at 4pm. The age rating is 16 years unaccompanied. Menores aged 16 needs a legal guardian.
Arena from Baixada receives complete structure for the event
Athletico Paranaense’s house will undergo specific adaptations. Seis different sectors share the space, which allows options for all audience profiles. Production is handled by MOVE Concerts in partnership with RW7 Production & Entertainment.
Curitiba closes the tour announcement cycle on Brasil. The dates for São Paulo on October 25th and 27th had already been revealed before. The announcement of the capital of Paraná completed the South American itinerary.
Fãs who follow Iron Maiden’s career highlight the relevance of the passage. The band maintains active tours even after half a century of history, with Dickinson at the forefront at 67 years old. The vocalist also flies planes and participates in other side projects.
The expectation now is for social media to heat up. Grupos of fans are already organizing meetings and exchanging experiences about previous shows in the country. Iron Maiden’s last visit to Brasil left positive marks in the public’s memory.
The event reinforces Curitiba’s cultural calendar for the second half of 2026. Baixada’s Arena, which hosts football games, gains another big name in international music.
