A 74-year-old truck driver knelt and said a prayer next to the body of a fatal victim in an accident on BR-158. The incident occurred in front of a gas station at km 205, in Cruz Alta, last Saturday. Sergeant Fábio Machado, of Corpo of Bombeiros, followed the scene closely.

The driver’s action was photographed and generated emotional repercussions among those present at the scene. André Mimbacas Saccol, 47 years old, died after the collision between the motorcycle he was driving and the truck.
