INSS sends proof of life alert via WhatsApp to beneficiaries with pending issues

Seguro Social’s Instituto Nacional started sending notifications via WhatsApp. The measure affects retirees, pensioners and other beneficiaries who still need to regularize their proof of life. The main objective is to avoid suspension of monthly payments.

Brasil’s official Governo account, with blue verification badge, is responsible for sending. The same message also appears in the mailbox of the Gov.br application. Apenas beneficiaries without automatic verification in the systems receive the alert.
