The Brazilian team returned to training without Neymar on the field this Tuesday, in Morristown, in the United States. In the 15 minutes open to the press, Carlo Ancelotti separated the players into two different groups, but avoided any clear indication of the team that should start the World Cup.
Ibañez, Marquinhos, Léo Pereira, Douglas Santos, Éderson, Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães, Matheus Cunha, Martinelli, Luiz Henrique and Raphinha wore vests during the activity. The other athletes were left out of this initial division.
In the open part of the training, the main work involved crossing, with Ibañez playing on the side. The Italian coach maintained the usual secrecy regarding the starting lineup.
Neymar continues to recover from a calf injury and is undergoing treatment separately, without participating in ball activities with the main group. The expectation is that he will not be available or on the bench for the debut against Morocco.
Brazil faces Morocco on June 13, in New Jersey, in the first round of the 2026 World Cup. Ancelotti uses these final training sessions to adjust tactical options without giving clear clues to his opponents.
