Small plane crash in Marília: two people die and one is rescued in SP

An air accident involving a small aircraft resulted in the death of two people in Marília (SP), last Wednesday (10). Confirmation came from the rescue teams that worked at the scene.

A third person involved in the incident was promptly rescued and taken to a hospital. The identities of the fatal victims were released as Henrique Guariente and Gabriel Maloni. Although Maloni is a commercial pilot, there is no confirmation that he was in control of the aircraft at the time of the crash.

The aircraft crashed into a football field in the city and then caught fire. Fire Department teams were mobilized to control the flames and carry out the rescue. The two victims who lost their lives were charred, while the third was taken to Hospital das Clínicas for treatment.

The exact location of the accident was a field belonging to the Associação Atlética Banco do Brasil (AABB). The area is located close to the municipal airport runway, approximately one kilometer away.

Rede Voa, responsible for managing Marília airport, reported that the aircraft took off at around 11:13 am. The device fell shortly after departure. The circumstances leading to the accident remain under investigation.

The accident plane is a twin-engine Beech Aircraft 58, manufactured in 1985, registered under the prefix PT-MDB. According to records, its airworthiness status was considered normal.
