PlayStation Plus subscribers have reason to celebrate in June 2026, with Sony revealing a series of titles coming to the service’s catalog. The main highlight is one of the most acclaimed RPGs, promising hours of entertainment for players.
Starting this month, an important modification to the distribution system will be implemented in markets such as the United States, United Kingdom and Japan. In these territories, the games will be made available gradually, not all at once. This methodology, which is similar to that practiced by Xbox Game Pass, aims to encourage the discovery of new titles, as previously stated by Sony executives when addressing the removal of their own games from the service. For other countries, however, the full releases will be available from June 16th.
One of the big attractions for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium levels is the arrival of Final Fantasy XVI, the praised RPG from Square Enix. This title promises to captivate players with its immersive narrative and intense combat, serving as an ideal preparation for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Revelation next year. Adding to the RPG experience, Kingdom Come: Deliverance also joins the list, offering an action journey with a historical focus, free of fantastic elements.
The immersion in RPG universes continues with Black Desert, an open world MMORPG developed by Pearl Abyss. For high-speed fans, Sonic X Shadow Generations adds a dose of adrenaline to the collection. Those who prefer more relaxed and strategic gameplay can explore the possibilities of Farming Simulator 25, transforming agricultural dreams into virtual reality.
In terms of narrative adventure, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, the penultimate title in the series, delivers a fun experience with its time travel plot. Another addition is Blades of Fire, an action-adventure game created by renowned studio MercurySteam, known for work on Castlevania and Metroid Dread.
Finally, for classic aficionados, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will have the chance to revisit Gitaroo-Man, an iconic PlayStation 2 rhythm game. This title will be available for PS4 and PS5, marking its return to modern consoles.
