The Galaxy S26 line represents Samsung’s latest generation of high-end smartphones. Historically, the “FE” (Fun Edition) edition of the Galaxy S is launched during the autumn of the northern hemisphere, positioning itself after the launches of the entry-level and premium models. Despite not being officially sold in certain markets, such as Japan, the S26 FE tends to attract consumers by offering slightly improved specifications for a more affordable cost.

With the recent launch of the Galaxy S26 this year, expectations now turn to the arrival of the Galaxy S26 FE, and photographs supposedly showing the new device have begun to circulate on the internet.

New architecture for the rear camera module

The images that have emerged reveal a notable modification to the rear camera arrangement compared to the previous Galaxy S25 FE. This change, however, was already widely expected, as the FE version traditionally adopts the design trends of the main series.

While the Galaxy S25 featured a camera setup without surrounding bezels, Samsung has introduced a new pattern starting with this year’s Galaxy S26, where the rear lenses are highlighted by textured, raised rings. In line with this aesthetic, the supposed photos of the Galaxy S26 FE indicate the presence of these frames.

A point that generates particular attention is the apparent proximity of the edge of the camera to the end of the device. This arrangement, in fact, seems excessively close, raising important questions about the veracity of the images released or whether the design is still in an early prototype stage, which could influence durability and comfort of use.

Additionally, recent speculation suggests that the Galaxy S26 FE will come equipped with the Exynos 2500 processor and 8 GB RAM, complementing expectations surrounding its launch.
