Google has intensified the functionality of its Personal Intelligence feature in Gemini, enabling the generation of tailored images by integrating the assistant with Google Photos and the Nano Banana model. This union allows the creation of content highly adapted to the user’s tastes and context, eliminating the need to provide data or visual references manually.

Gemini’s Personal Intelligence feature enables the assistant to interact with several of the technology giant’s services, such as Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube and Search. With this, it can collect information from these applications and, based on the data obtained, present more individualized results.

Originally launched in January, Personal Intelligence was initially available in AI Mode of the search experience, as well as in the Gemini app and Gemini on Chrome. Now, Google announces the continued expansion of its use, incorporating it directly into the image creation tool within the assistant application.

For now, the functionality is only accessible to users in the United States. The technology company highlighted that this innovation offers the opportunity to experiment, at no cost, with the production of “highly personalized” images, thanks to the connection of Personal Intelligence with its Nano Banana image model and the Google Photos collection.

In a note published on its blog, Google clarified that the figures created by Gemini, using Personal Intelligence, will reflect the “taste and lifestyle” of each user. This is possible due to the accuracy of the information collected from the various Google applications that are connected.

In practice, Personal Intelligence requires users to detail aspects of their lives in minute detail to create the desired image. All you have to do is provide simple instructions, such as “design my dream house”, and the system will search for the relevant data.

Additionally, with Gemini’s ability to access data from Google Photos, users will no longer need to manually share their specific images with the assistant. They can simply reference this content directly within their image creation instructions.

However, Google reinforced that the integration of the company’s applications with Gemini through Personal Intelligence remains a user choice, and can be activated or deactivated at any time in the platform’s settings.
