The XBOX Game Studios and Halo Studios teams announced that the game Halo: Campaign Evolved was officially released on July 28, 2026. The new version is accessible to PlayStation 5, XBOX Series, XBOX Game Pass and PC players, through the Steam and Microsoft Store platforms.

Halo: Campaign Evolved represents a faithful, modernized recreation of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign. Players will be able to relive the classic narrative with high-definition visuals, updated cinematic cutscenes, and more precise controls. The adventure is enriched with three new missions, led by Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson. An expanded arsenal of weapons, vehicles and enemies, along with optional “Skulls” modifiers, provide new strategies and diverse, challenging gameplay.
The gaming experience offers flexibility, allowing users to play solo or in online co-op with up to four people.
