A well-known Chinese leaker in the mobile market has released details about the Galaxy S26 The information also points to a change in fast charging from 45W to 60W.
The increase represents about 4% over Galaxy S25 Ultra, but marks the first significant increase in six years in the mainline. Wireless charging can reach 25W with full support for the Qi2 standard, thanks to the inclusion of magnets in the device’s body.
Battery maintains standard since 2020
The Samsung adopts 5,000 mAh in the Ultra models since the launch of the Galaxy S20 Ultra in February 2020. Subsequent Modelos such as S21 Ultra maintained exactly the same capacity.
This decision occurs even with Chinese rivals offering batteries above 6,000 mAh in similar devices. The brand prioritizes energy efficiency and software optimization to compensate for limited capacity.
