Verge Motorcycles announced a significant advancement in the electric vehicle sector with the introduction of the TS Pro, the first production electric motorcycle to be equipped with a solid-state battery. The technology promises to revolutionize the riding experience, eliminating the main barriers of autonomy and recharging time that still limit the mass adoption of electric models.

Developed in partnership with Donut Lab, the new battery configuration allows the motorcycle to achieve an impressive range of up to 600 kilometers on a single charge in its most robust version. The innovative design of the Finnish brand is maintained, with the characteristic engine integrated into the rear wheel, which eliminates the need for a central hub and gives it a futuristic look.

First deliveries of the model are scheduled for early 2026, with an initial focus on the European market before a planned expansion to other regions. The initiative positions the Verge at the forefront of electric mobility on two wheels, offering a practical solution for long journeys without the anxiety of constant recharging.

Solid State Battery Technology in Detail

Solid-state batteries represent the next generation in energy storage, replacing liquid or gel electrolyte with a solid material. Essa structural change dramatically increases energy density, allowing more energy to be stored in the same physical volume. In the case of the Verge TS Pro, this innovation, called Essa technology, allows for greater autonomy without significantly increasing the weight or size of the motorcycle, which remains at 235 kg. Além of the higher capacity, the technology offers more safety, as the solid electrolyte is less volatile and drastically reduces the risk of overheating and fires, a common problem in conventional lithium-ion batteries. The partnership with the Donut Lab ensures scaled production, and internal tests confirmed the durability of the component, which withstands thousands of charge and discharge cycles without significant degradation, extending the battery’s useful life for the entire period of use of the motorcycle.

TS Pro specifications and performance

The heart of the motorcycle is the Donut 2.0 engine, which is 50% lighter than its previous generation and is fully integrated into the rear wheel.

The Verge offers two battery options for the TS Pro. The top-of-the-line version, with 33.3 kWh, is the one that reaches 600 km of autonomy in ideal conditions of mixed use. Há also a standard version with 20.2 kWh, which offers a range of 350 km, sufficient for most daily needs.

One of the highlights is the fast charging capability. At compatible DC charging stations, the system can recover around 300 kilometers of range in approximately 10 minutes, a time comparable to conventional charging.

In terms of performance, the TS Pro accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, with an instant torque of 101 kgf.m and a power equivalent to 137 horsepower.

Competitive advantages in the market

Improved safety, due to lower fire risk, makes the solid-state battery attractive to consumers concerned about incidents reported in lithium-ion technologies.

Additionally, superior component durability translates into a lower long-term cost of ownership, as owners will face fewer battery replacements over the life of the vehicle.

Futuristic design and ergonomics

The look of the TS Pro maintains the identity of a sports naked, with aggressive and minimalist lines. The absence of a central engine frees up space and contributes to better weight distribution and greater agility.

The rider interacts with the motorcycle through a full digital instrument panel, which includes adjustable riding modes and connectivity for real-time battery monitoring.

The riding position was designed to be comfortable both in urban use and on longer trips, with the seat and handlebars positioned to guarantee ergonomics without compromising sportiness.

Availability and global expansion plans

Sales of the Verge TS Pro have already started through the brand’s official website and at selected retailers at Production was planned to meet initial demand without delays, with the first units reaching owners in the first quarter of 2026.

After consolidating its presence in the European market, Verge Motorcycles plans to expand its operations to other strategic markets, such as Estados Unidos and Ásia. Local certification processes are already underway to enable imports in the coming months, solidifying the brand as a global reference in innovation for electric two-wheeled vehicles.

Charging infrastructure and compatibility

The TS Pro is compatible with the growing network of DC fast charging stations, allowing riders to make the most of fast charging capabilities. Para home use, the motorcycle can be fully charged overnight using a Nível 2 charger.

The new standard for electric motorcycles

The arrival of the TS Pro establishes a new autonomy benchmark in the sector, challenging competing models that are currently limited to ranges between 300 and 400 kilometers.

This evolution transforms the electric motorcycle into a truly viable option for long distances, combining performance, safety and practicality in a single package and positioning it as a real alternative to high-performance combustion models.
