Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed Hyperpop Collection, a new line of accessories for PlayStation 5 that includes three vibrant designs for DualSense controllers and console covers. The models feature gradients that transition from glossy black to intense neon colors, with launch scheduled for March 12, 2026.

Pre-orders begin on January 16, 2026 at select stores and on the PlayStation direct website. Essa collection seeks to offer customization options that stand out in modern gaming setups.

The line includes the Techno Red, Remix Green and Rhythm Blue variants, applied to both controls and covers. The products maintain the original DualSense features, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Collection designs

The Hyperpop Collection designs stand out for their high-gloss finish and smooth color transitions. The DualSense control receives a continuous gradient around the entire front and rear structure, with a coating that highlights the neon tones.

The PS5 console covers follow the same pattern, incorporating subtle transparency details for greater visual depth. Essas features were developed to complement RGB lighting common in gaming environments.

  • Gradient from bright black to intense neon
  • Gloss finish that amplifies the shine of colors
  • Transparent details on the console covers
  • Inspiration in RGB lights from gamer setups

The design team emphasized creating accessories that dominate the surrounding space, providing an impactful look.

Available colors

The Hyperpop Collection offers three different color options for accessories. Techno Red transitions to vibrant neon red, while Remix Green highlights an intense green.

Rhythm Blue completes the line with striking neon blue. Cada variant is available for both the DualSense and PS5 Slim covers, allowing for coordinated combinations.

The control buttons and elements maintain contrast in black, with PlayStation symbols in corresponding colors. Essa palette was chosen to evoke energy and modernity in the setups.

Prices and availability

The Hyperpop Collection DualSense controllers have a suggested price of US$84.99 in the Estados Unidos, with equivalent values in other regions, such as ¥12,480 in the Japão including taxes. Console covers cost $74.99, also with local variations.

The lids will be offered in limited quantities in select markets. No Brasil, pricing and availability details will be announced soon by PlayStation.

Pre-sales begin on January 16th at 10am local time in several countries. The global launch takes place from March 12, 2026.

Creation process

The team of Cor, Material and Acabamento from Sony developed Hyperpop Collection with a focus on visual innovation. The designers sought to create pieces that not only complement, but transform the gaming environment.

The seamless gradient and gloss finish were tested to maximize the effect of neon colors. Detalhes like transparency on the lids add visual layers without compromising durability.

This approach follows previous lines of PS5 customization, expanding options for players.

Accessory compatibility

The Hyperpop Collection covers are exclusively compatible with PS5 Slim models, including disc drive and Digital Edition versions. Elas will not fit PS5 Pro or older original models.

DualSense controllers work with all PS5 models, maintaining full features. The collection allows coordinated customization between controller and console for those who own the PS5 Slim.

This limitation follows official Sony accessory standards for specific generations.

Customization options

The Hyperpop Collection expands the customization possibilities of the PlayStation 5, joining previous lines such as the Chroma and Deep Earth. Gamers can choose colors that match their RGB setups.

The neon variants offer a stark contrast to the console’s standard white design. Essa line represents one of the most daring in terms of brightness and chromatic intensity.

With limited quantities for the caps, the collection encourages quick pre-sales purchases.
