The Chinese technology giant has officially expanded its new user interface, including an extensive catalog of equipment. The distribution of the software package covers around 70 different models, including smartphones and tablets under the brands Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco, with the aim of unifying the ecosystem experience and offering significant visual enhancements to consumers.

The implementation process began in the Asian market in January this year and follows a staggered schedule that should reach global users in the coming weeks. The manufacturer’s strategy aims to ensure the stability of the system before a massive launch in all territories where it officially operates, ensuring that the server infrastructure supports the demand for simultaneous downloads. The changes presented in this version seek to raise usability standards, focusing on the integration of advanced tools and the tactile response of the devices.

Among the main points confirmed by the company for this compilation are the optimization of deep algorithms for battery saving, a new more fluid and responsive system animation, in addition to the integration of native artificial intelligence capabilities and the redesign of essential applications, such as Galeria and Clima.

Visual innovations and intelligent processing

The new version of the operating system introduces important changes to the visual architecture, promising more organic and less blocked navigation. Transitions between screens and opening applications have been redesigned to create a sense of continuity and eliminate stuttering reported in previous versions. The company reinforces that fluidity in daily use was one of the priorities in the development of the code, seeking a more natural interaction between human and machine.

In addition to aesthetics, artificial intelligence plays a central role in the functioning of the device, processing complex tasks directly on the hardware, without the need for constant connection to the cloud. The system now manages notifications more intelligently and suggests contextual actions based on user behavior, in addition to facilitating connection with third-party accessories, such as wireless headphones, through quick pairing protocols.

Customization options have also been expanded, allowing owners to modify the lock screen with greater creative freedom. The interface includes features that ensure quick access to media controls and system alerts directly at the top of the screen, integrating in a dynamic and functional way with the design of the front cameras.

Distribution priorities and technical basis

The update calendar follows a strategic logic, prioritizing newer devices with more robust hardware to receive the latest news first hand. Test and stable Versões began circulating in high-end models at China at the end of January, serving as a basis for final adjustments before international expansion. In the global market, the expectation is that update notifications via OTA will appear on devices throughout the first half of the year.

The Xiaomi 15 and 14 series top the priority list, followed by premium mid-range models that will undergo internal testing to ensure full compatibility. The manufacturer maintains an open feedback channel with the community to monitor the stability of the software. Caso critical bugs are found, the schedule may undergo occasional changes, ensuring that the final result is not compromised by security flaws or excessive energy consumption.

The eligibility list covers a significant number of products launched in the last two years, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to long-term support. The numbered lines, which represent the company’s premium segment, receive the full treatment, including all AI features that require more powerful processors. Modelos of the Xiaomi 15 series, including variants Pro and Ultra, as well as the Xiaomi 14 family, are the first to run the new system.

In the large screen segment, the developer did not forget about tablets. The Xiaomi Pad 7 and its Pro versions gained an interface adaptation aimed at productivity and multitasking, taking advantage of the extra display space to improve the workflow. The subsidiary Poco also integrates the update program with several popular models, with emphasis on the F series, where the new Poco F7 and F7 Pro receive special attention in optimization for games and temperature management.

The construction of HyperOS 3.1 varies depending on the device’s hardware. Nos latest models, the system is built on the Android 16, taking advantage of the new architecture of the Google. On older Para devices, the interface is applied over the Android 15, maintaining the visual identity and most features, but respecting processing limitations. Foi implemented an improved update technology to make future updates more agile, fragmenting data packages so that download and installation occur more quickly.
