Samsung made the new family of premium smartphones official during an event held at São Francisco, at Estados Unidos. The Galaxy S26 line hits the market consisting of three distinct models that prioritize deep integration of artificial intelligence and introduce an unprecedented panel with privacy technology. The innovative feature restricts the screen’s viewing angle via software and hardware to protect sensitive data and personal information from prying eyes in public environments.

The launch highlights the South Korean manufacturer’s strategy to lead the high-performance mobile device segment. Além of the innovations in visual safety, the devices bring significant improvements in processing and autonomy, seeking to serve both corporate users and technology enthusiasts who demand intensive multitasking.

Advanced processing and power autonomy

The most robust model in the series, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is exclusively equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor in all global markets. Benchmark tests indicate that this chipset offers a 20% performance jump in processing speed and 35% in energy efficiency compared to the previous generation, optimizing the use of the 5,000 mAh battery.

The standard and Plus versions use the Exynos 2600 chip and feature adjustments in power capacity to support new system demands. The batteries were set at 4,300 mAh in the base model and 4,900 mAh in the mid-range version. Todos devices now support up to 60W fast wired charging and 25W Qi2 standard wireless charging.

Evolution in the camera and photography system

The photographic set received important updates, highlighting the 200 MP main sensor on the high-end device. The Samsung implemented a new 50 MP ultrawide lens, ensuring high-resolution captures even at wide angles, in addition to maintaining 3x and 5x optical zoom options with 50 MP sensors, providing greater clarity in photos from a distance.

Artificial intelligence acts directly in the post-processing of images and videos, automatically recognizing scenarios. The system adjusts lighting, focus and stabilization to deliver professional results without the need for complex manual editing, raising the bar for content creators and mobile photographers.

Design details and suggested prices

The construction of the devices maintains a minimalist visual identity, with thinner edges and the use of reinforced materials for greater durability. The Galaxy S26
