The company Nothing launched this Thursday (March 5, 2026) the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro smartphones in global markets, during an event held in Londres. The devices arrive as an evolution of the previous series, focusing on innovative design, improved camera features and integration of the updated Glyph system. The Phone (4a) Sales start soon, with pre-sales already open on some official channels.
The devices run Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, with a promise of three years of operating system updates and six years of security patches. Nothing chose not to launch a flagship in 2026, keeping the Phone (3) as the top-of-the-line model.
Differentiated design and construction
The Phone (4a) maintains the brand’s characteristic look with a transparent back in parts and vibrant color options such as pink, white, black and blue. Ele weighs 204.5g and is 8.6mm thick, with IP64 certification against dust and water.
The Phone (4a) Pro adopts a more premium design with a metallic unibody, reducing the thickness to 7.95mm and offering IP68 resistance. The rear limits transparency to the camera module, available in black, white, pink and metallic silver.
Screen and performance
The Phone (4a) screen measures 6.78 inches LTPS flexible AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. Protection comes with Gorilla Glass 7i for greater durability in daily use.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor equips the base model, ensuring good performance in multitasking and light games. The Pro brings the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, more powerful for demanding tasks and AI processing.
Both support up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, without expansion via card.

The Phone (4a) has a 50MP main camera Samsung GN9 with OIS and EIS, a 50MP telephoto Samsung JN5 with 3.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide camera The set allows for detailed captures in different scenarios.
The Phone (4a) Pro improves with a larger 50MP main sensor The front remains at 32MP, focusing on quality for selfies and video calls.
Battery and charging
The Phone (4a) battery has 5,400 mAh with 50W wired charging, sufficient for prolonged use without frequent recharging.
The Phone (4a) Pro comes with 5,080 mAh and the same 50W support, balancing capacity with a thinner design and more powerful components.
Prices and availability
The Phone (4a) starts at £349 / €349 / ₹31,999 for the 8GB/128GB version, with 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB options. Sales open on March 13, 2026 in selected markets such as Europa, Reino Unido and Índia, but not until Estados Unidos.
The Phone (4a) Pré-sales begin on March 13th and sales open on March 27th, including the American market exclusively via Amazon.
Nothing also introduced the Headphone (a), an affordable over-ear headphone with up to 135 hours of battery life and hi-res audio, complementing the product line.
