A demo of the narrative adventure game Tides of Tomorrow can now be downloaded on PlayStation 5. The title, developed by DigixArt and published by THQ Nordic, is scheduled for release on April 22, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The demo offers approximately 40 minutes of gameplay and allows you to explore the exclusive Online Story Link system. Nesse feature, choices made by other players influence the world experienced by the current user.
The game takes place in a flooded post-apocalyptic world, where the player takes on the role of Tidewalker. The narrative unfolds as a single-player experience, but with elements that connect different sessions asynchronously.
System Online Story Link differentiates the title
Online Story Link acts as a link between the stories of different players. Quando Someone plays, their decisions leave marks that appear in another user’s game in a later session.
This creates variations in the development of the plot. The player can find different paths depending on previous choices, including stealth, pursuit, persuasion or investigation options.
The mechanics encourage repeated plays to discover new developments. The world called Marketland transforms based on these shared influences.
