Ubisoft has confirmed the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Re:Synchro. The complete remake of the 2013 title arrives on July 9, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, via Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store.

The game has been rebuilt from scratch with the latest version of the Anvil engine. Essa technical base allows for updated visuals, richer animations, and greater immersion in the 18th century Caribe. The online presentation highlighted gameplay footage that shows the improvement over the original version.

Motor Anvil delivers dynamic graphics and weather

The new engine enables advanced rendering of the Caribbean landscape. Cidades and Havana gain more detail, with dense crowds and improved facial animations. The weather system has been completely overhauled. Tempestades and weather changes now influence navigation and naval combat more realistically.

Underwater exploration has also received expansion. Players encounter more varied and dangerous underwater ecosystems, with sharks and shipwrecks rendered in higher fidelity. Esses elements expand discovery options without changing the core story of Edward Kenway.

  • Gráficos rebuilt with ray tracing and immersive audio
  • Dynamic Clima affecting ship mechanics
  • Wider and more dangerous underwater Exploração
  • Animações more fluid parkour

Combate, stealth and navigation gain refinements

The combat system underwent adjustments to flow better. Players can now parry more naturally and perform quick combos. In stealth, the option to crouch anywhere opens up new approaches and assassination routes. Missões’s persecution has also been relaxed. Ser detected does not automatically fail the mission, but requires immediate adaptation.

Naval battles in Jackdaw received special attention. Ubisoft has added new weapons for the ship and alternative fire upgrade options. Navigation gains more details in maneuvers and weather impacts. Esses tweaks maintain the original bootleg appeal while elevating the feeling of control.

Novos officers and pets enrich the Jackdaw crew

Três new officers join the story: Lucy Baldwin, the Padre and “Deadman” Smith. Cada one has unique recruitment missions and special abilities. Deadman Smith, for example, unleashes dual side cannon shots. Players need to earn their trust to activate these bonuses.

Outro addition allows you to take pets on the ship. Gatos and monkeys can accompany the crew during travel. Ubisoft has also prepared new sailor songs to enhance the atmosphere during sailing.

  • Lucy Baldwin, Padre and Deadman Smith as new officers
  • Habilidades special for naval battles
  • Pets like cats and monkeys in Jackdaw
  • Novas songs and customizations for the ship

História preserves original core and adds chapters

The central plot follows Edward Kenway in the conflict between Assassinos and Templários during Era’s Ouro’s Pirataria. The remake maintains the protagonist’s journey without major changes to the main narrative. However, Ubisoft included new chapters and missions. Additional Cenas involves Edward’s wife, Caroline Scott Kenway, and expanded plots with Barba Negra and Stede Bonnet.

The multiplayer elements and additional content from the 2013 version have been removed. Essa decision focuses the experience on the single-player campaign and exploration of Caribe. A revised contemporary section further focuses on Edward’s perspective.

Edições and availability confirmed

The standard edition costs $59.99. Digital Deluxe includes extra character and naval packs. Collector’s Edition, exclusive to PlayStation 5, features Edward figurine, themed diary, pin, fabric map and SteelBook. Pré – Pre-orders give you access to Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack with exclusive outfit, swords and pistols.

The game will also be available on the Ubisoft+ service. Ubisoft Singapore leads development, with support from several internal studios.
