BMW and Mini EV owners get a 20% discount on the Ionna network until September

Proprietários of BMW electric vehicles and Mini in Estados Unidos can enjoy a 20% discount when charging at Ionna stations until September 30, 2026. The campaign was announced by the companies and offers a significant reduction in fast charging costs on one of the best performing networks in the country.

The discount is automatically applied when the driver uses the Plug & Charge technology or the My BMW app to start charging. The reduction is applied directly to the final invoice, eliminating the need for additional cards, subscriptions or manual activation of the promotion.

Desconto reduces tariff to up to R$0.27 per kilowatt-hour

Ionna charges between R$0.33 and R$0.39 per kilowatt-hour at its stations. With the 20% discount, BMW and Mini owners pay between R$0.27 and R$0.32 per kilowatt-hour, representing substantial savings on long-distance trips. The network exclusively uses direct current chargers with a capacity of 400 kilowatts.

The application of the discount depends on the payment method. Motoristas who pay directly with a debit or credit card at the station will not receive the reduction. It is mandatory to use Plug & Charge or an Shell Recharge account configured in the My BMW app to activate the benefit. Essa restriction ensures proper tracking of promoted transactions.

Ionna expands network with 212 new stations in 2025

The fast-charging network opened 212 new charging bays this year alone, bringing the total of individual bays to approximately 1,000 spread across 100 stations. Nos first seven days of operation of each new location opened in 2025, Ionna offers a promotional rate of R$0.20 per kilowatt-hour to all users, attracting drivers to the expanding network.
