On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Nintendo Direct 2026.6.9 brought news for fans of the One Piece franchise. During the broadcast, Bandai Namco and Kairosoft revealed One Piece: Grand Gourmet, a management sim that puts players in charge of a branch of the Baratie restaurant alongside the Straw Hat Pirates.
The title will be released on October 23, 2026. The Nintendo Switch version will be exclusively digital, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will have physical and digital editions. The game also arrives on Steam, App Store and Google Play, with the PC and mobile versions scheduled for October 23 in Japan and the following day in other regions.
The game is a pixel art management simulator in which the player opens and manages Baratie 2. It is possible to develop dishes in partnership with Sanji, create fixed menus with themed decorations and serve a variety of customers. The expansion of the culinary repertoire happens through adventures that yield new ingredients.
Devil Fruit abilities come into play in the kitchen, like preparing a Flaming Steak with Ace’s help. The interior of the restaurant can also be customized with the money earned. Decoration items include options such as “Dividor [Kingdom of Alabasta Style]”.
In total, more than 400 characters from the series appear in the game. The player expands the business together with the Straw Hat crew, serving both allies and rivals in unique interactions.
An announcement trailer was shown shortly after the reveal, showing the content of the title. The super special edition, which includes a Luffy plush toy and other bonus items, was also detailed. The game will have a playable demonstration at ONE PIECE DAY ’26, scheduled for August 22 and 23, 2026.
