Brazil x Iran in the Men’s Volleyball Nations League: where to watch and time

The Brazilian men’s volleyball team debuts this Wednesday in the 2026 Nations League against Iran, at 8 pm, in Brasília. The match marks the team’s official return after their early elimination from the 2025 World Cup and will be broadcast on sportv2 and ge tv, with real-time monitoring from ge.globo.

After a difficult cycle in 2025, which ended with the exit in the group stage of the World Cup held in the Philippines, the men’s team returns to official competitions in the Brasília stage of the Nations League. The team faces Iran this Wednesday (10), at 8pm (Brasília time), at the Nilson Nelson gym, with broadcast on sportv2 and ge tv, as well as minute-by-minute coverage on ge.globo.

For the opening game, Bernardinho called up the setters Brasília and Cachopa, the opposites Bryan and Darlan, the pointers Adriano, Arthur Bento, Douglas Souza, Honorato and Lucarelli, the central players Flávio, Judson and Matheus Pinta, and the liberos Maique and Pureza. The first phase of the Nations League brings together 18 teams, who play 12 matches over three stages. After the round in Brasília, Brazil heads to week 2 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and then to Chicago, in the United States, in the third week.

At the end of the qualifying phase, seven countries guarantee a place in the final phase, scheduled for between July 29th and August 2nd, in Ningbo, China. As hosts, China is already automatically classified for the quarterfinals, occupying the eighth spot.
