Apple announced new artificial intelligence features integrated into most services available on its devices. The announcement integrates the new features that will accompany the software launches scheduled for 2027. Users will have access to improved versions of Apple Maps, Apple Cash, Mac, tvOS, Shared Albums and other applications, with a focus on making everyday life more practical and intelligent.
“We’re excited to bring powerful new features and more intelligence to hundreds of millions of Apple Services users, making their experiences even more interesting and fun,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, in an official statement.
“From new exploration tools with Flyover and Local Listings in Maps to more convenient ways to pay and get paid in Apple Wallet and continued expansion of video podcasts in Apple Podcasts on Mac and tvOS, among others, these updates reflect our commitment to creating experiences that truly make a difference in people’s lives,” he added.
Apple Maps will gain an even richer experience in Flyover, which combines aerial imagery with artificial intelligence to deliver stunningly detailed visuals of select cities around the world. Local Listings will help you discover restaurants, parks and tourist attractions more efficiently, although the feature will remain exclusive to the United States in the initial launch.
From 2026, sharing location with friends and family through the Search app will become more flexible. Users will be able to customize the sharing duration and temporarily pause the feature until the end of the day for specific contacts. On Apple Watch, a new unified app will replace the Find Devices, Find Items and Find People apps, simplifying management.
