Former player Jurgen Klinsmann, who won the World Cup with Germany in 1990, declared that the Brazilian team will lift the 2026 World Cup trophy, pointing out that Carlo Ancelotti’s stance is the most appropriate to occupy the group’s technical leadership.

The former center forward of the German team commented that the Brazilian confederation acted fearlessly when choosing a foreign professional to lead the athletes and highlighted that the vast experience of the Italian commander is capable of removing the national team from a position of accommodation. The last foreigner to command Brazil was Argentine Filpo Nuñez, in a single festive match in 1965.

The former athlete expressed his conviction that Brazil leads the odds of winning and is establishing itself as the main force in this edition of the world tournament. He argued that Carlo Ancelotti’s presence broke the squad’s inertia, highlighting the country’s pioneering spirit in seeking a coach from abroad, an attitude that traditional confederations, such as Italy itself, avoid adopting. For the German, the commander brings together the behavioral attributes and authority necessary to manage the sporting environment in the country, driving the group with enthusiasm, vitality and confidence backed by a successful career in which he won all the main club competitions.

The German observer also made positive comments regarding the Brazilian team’s rearguard sector and mentioned striker Neymar, indicating that the player has the potential to become a decisive element when joining the clashes.

The analyst projected the impact that Neymar’s arrival will have on the stands from the first rounds of the competition onwards, predicting an atmosphere of great enthusiasm in the stadiums. He complemented his analysis by praising the consistency of the Brazilian defensive system, which brings together mature athletes who are determined to win the championship, also remembering the need to maintain performance throughout the eight matches required by the new regulations to achieve the title.
