Xiaomi has officially started distributing a new version of POCO Launcher for HyperOS compatible devices. The RELEASE-6.01.05.2363-05131626 build arrives a few days after the previous one and brings mainly technical adjustments, without visual changes to the interface.
Users who have installed the package report that the home screen and navigation elements remain the same as the previous version. The manufacturer prioritized low-level optimizations to refine the launcher’s overall performance.
This incremental update reflects Xiaomi’s current strategy of updating key components independently. Instead of concentrating fixes in large firmware packages, the company releases isolated improvements to the Launcher, Security app, Themes and System UI.
Technical optimizations implemented
Non-visible improvements include more efficient RAM memory management, which reduces background consumption and prevents unexpected app closures when returning to the home screen. There were also adjustments to animations to reduce microcrashes and bug fixes that caused crashes in intense usage scenarios.
The previous version, identified as 05131624, had introduced a redesign of the native search bar and updates to the stylization of the home screen of POCO and Redmi cell phones. The new build acts as a polish for these recent changes.
Xiaomi’s continuous update strategy
This approach of frequent and focused releases allows Xiaomi to respond more quickly to community reports. The constant stream of small updates helps stabilize the HyperOS ecosystem without waiting for major seasonal updates.
Users can obtain the new build through trusted APK repositories or wait for official distribution via Xiaomi channels.
Preparation for HyperOS 4
The release comes at a time of transition for Xiaomi. The company plans HyperOS 4 with the Liquid Glass visual language as the main aesthetic novelty. For POCO cell phones, one of the most significant changes will be the end of the brand’s exclusive launcher, replaced by a unified interface across the entire ecosystem.
