According to Deadline, the 6th season of Only Murders in the Building has announced new additions to the cast. Simone Ashley, known for her role in Bridgerton, appears as the main name among the additions.
Along with her, Jennifer Saunders, from Absolutely Fabulous, Sean Teale, from Skins, Amar Chadha-Patel, from Willow, Rhea Norwood, from Heartstopper, Matthew Beard, from The Imitation Game, and Sharon Horgan, from Bad Sisters, make recurring appearances.
It is not yet known what the complete plot of the new season will be, which is currently being recorded in the United Kingdom.
Season 6 sees the return of the main trio of amateur detectives, formed by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, alongside Michael Cyril Creighton.
Recapping Only Murders in the Building
The series, created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, follows Charles, Oliver and Mabel, three residents of the Arconia building who develop a fixation with criminal cases. The initial hobby with true crime podcasts turns into a real investigation, with the group solving murders that occur locally while recording everything on the program itself.

In the season 5 finale, the trio follows Cinda Canning’s latest podcast, which focuses on a mysterious red-haired woman accused of killing a member of British royalty. The story indicates that she was sent to the United States for protection after the scandal. Soon after, a red-haired woman appears injured at the Arconia gates, but the twist shows that it is Cinda herself, attacked in connection with the case she was investigating.
The fifth season also featured appearances from Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Bobby Cannavale, Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, Dianne Wiest and others.
