The 2026 FIFA World Cup officially begins this Thursday, June 11, with the first group stage clashes. The tournament, which brings together 48 teams for the first time in history, will be played in Canada, Mexico and the United States until July 19th.

Opening games confirmed for June 11th

These duels mark the beginning of an unprecedented group stage with 12 groups of four teams each. The first two in each group advance directly, in addition to the eight best third-placed teams, totaling 32 teams in the round of 16.
