Presenter Tati Machado reveals new pregnancy with Bruno Monteiro after loss of her first child
Presenter Tati Machado, 34, revealed last Thursday (11) that she is expecting a new child. The news was shared on her digital platforms through a video alongside her husband, Bruno Monteiro, director of photography. “Love found another way to flourish”, she declared in the post, referring to the loss of the couple’s first baby, a boy, which occurred in May 2025, at eight months of pregnancy.
In the visual recording, the communicator displays a pair of baby shoes, while Bruno appears with a children’s camera. The melody chosen to embrace the moment was the gospel song “Deus de Obras Completas”, released in 2025 by Kemilly Santos. Immediately after the release, several personalities from the artistic world expressed support and joy in the comments, celebrating the moment with Tati.
Influencer Rafa Kalimann expressed her emotion by commenting: “Oh, I’m not crying, right! Oh, how good God is!” Presenter Fernanda Keulla also sent a loving message: “Congratulations friend! God is beautiful! Jesus protect you.” Rita Batista, in turn, celebrated the announcement: “Ah! How wonderful! My God, thank you!!! You know that the blessed one here really prayed for this! Congratulations!”.
The painful experience of previous pregnancy loss

In May 2025, Tati Machado experienced the gestational death of her son, Rael, who was 33 weeks old, equivalent to eight months. That year, during Mother’s Day, the journalist noticed the baby’s absence of movement, but the following day, she confirmed the heartbeat with a home device before continuing her work routine.
The decision to seek medical care came after Tati learned, through social media, that Michelli Machado had faced a similar loss, towards the end of her pregnancy. “At the same time, my world stopped”, recalled Tati in an exclusive interview with the Fantástico program, her first public appearance after the tragic event with Rael.
The subsequent ultrasound examination confirmed the sad reality: Rael’s heart was no longer beating. “I looked at Bruno, took his hand and said: ‘Life brought this to us. And we’re going to have to face it together'”, the presenter recalled about that moment.
To remove the baby, a birth was induced which, in Tati’s view, “was a beautiful birth. With all the sadness that existed there, it was beautiful.” Bruno Monteiro added in the same interview: “When we met Rael, it was our moment of farewell too.”
The exact cause of baby Rael’s death remained a mystery, never completely elucidated. Tati vented: “There is nothing in medicine that explains what happened to us. We had an autopsy, important genetic tests to even see our compatibility… Nothing.”
On the eve of last Mother’s Day, Tati Machado was moved when remembering the experience of her first pregnancy. Excited, she declared: “I’m a mother, right, guys? But it’s very strong, but it’s very cool. Because I’ve already said it here and I repeat: I would go through it all again, because I… Our Lady! It’s great to be a mother.”
In a previous interview with Fantástico, in July last year, the presenter reflected on her journey to “move on” after the loss of her son. On that occasion, she pondered: “You know when you create that phrase ready to say to people, like: ‘Ah, one day at a time?’. The other day, talking to Bruno, I said: ‘Bruno, I realized that it’s not one day at a time. It’s one hour at a time’. For me, there is no starting over. I’m moving on with my life with this brand that is forever”.
Finishing her statement, she added: “And I’m strengthened, very full of love, moving forward, but I remember that it wasn’t the life I wanted to have. It’s not what I prepared myself to have. This life we have is a life that was imposed. I don’t know what the other life would be like, but I was already transformed into the ‘Tati mother’ version.”
