Corinthians sees seven athletes free to sign pre-contracts with other clubs from July
As of July, a group of seven Corinthians players will be able to formalize pre-contracts with other teams, aiming to leave the club at the end of this season. His current ties with the São Paulo team end on the last day of December.
The list includes athletes André Ramalho, Fabrizio Angileri, Hugo Farias, André Carrillo, Zakaria Labyad, Jesse Lingard and Vitinho.
Although none of these athletes appear as undisputed starters, some such as André Ramalho, Carrillo, Labyad and Lingard play relevant roles in the squad, even starting matches on the bench on several occasions.
On the other hand, Hugo Farias, Angileri and Vitinho had fewer opportunities on the field.
In the case of Lingard and Zakaria, the possibility of remaining at the club in 2027 is greater. This is because their contracts contain automatic renewal clauses, activated if certain performance or participation targets are met.
The other athletes mentioned continue their activities normally and their fates should be determined later in the season.
It is important to highlight that players like Allan, Matheus Pereira and Kaio César also have contracts until December 31st. However, as they are at Corinthians on loan and belong to other clubs, they are not part of the group of seven names eligible for pre-contracts.
The proximity of Corinthians’ presidential elections, scheduled for November, adds a layer of complexity to the negotiations. It is likely that significant decisions regarding the future of these players will be postponed until the new board takes office, creating a scenario of uncertainty for squad planning.
