Fortnite launches this Saturday, November 1, 2025, an exclusive mini-season in collaboration with the animated series The Simpsons. The live event, titled “Welcome, Our Alien Overlords,” takes place at 11 a.m. PT and marks the transition from the current map to a stylized version of Springfield. The initiative, developed by Epic Games in partnership with Disney, aims to offer a battle royale experience with iconic elements of television production, which completed 36 seasons.

The season lasts until December 1st and includes weekly updates to keep players engaged.

Fans can access the content after a three to five hour global maintenance, expected to end around 4pm.

  • Main characters available in the battle pass: Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson and Ned Flanders.
  • Remixed versions: Peely as Springfielder and Fishstick with Blinky.
  • Initial sidekicks: Peels, an unlockable companion in the battle pass.

Springfield map comes to life in battle royale

Springfield Island appears with a cel-shaded look, faithful to the Simpsons animation style. Players explore locations like the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and Burns Mansion in 80-player matches.

The design adapts the scenario for fast-paced gameplay, with points of interest that integrate traditional Fortnite mechanics.

Skins and themed items shake up the battle pass

The battle pass, costing 1,000 V-Bucks, unlocks premium costumes for central characters. Alternative variants, such as evil Homer from special episodes, enrich the customization options.

Players link Epic and Disney accounts by November 15 to claim the glider from Kang and Kodos’ ship. Watching Twitch streams for 30 minutes earns you the “The Siiimpsooooons” wrap.

Iconic locations define the new landscape

Krusty Burger serves as an initial loot point for quick duels. Kwik-E-Mart replaces gas stations and offers themed supplies like donut-based healing items.

Moe’s Tavern hosts ambushes in detailed interior environments. The Simpsons house, in Evergreen Terrace, allows interactions with narrative elements from the series.

The Kamp Krusty camp introduces environmental challenges adapted to battle royale.

The city square hosts dynamic weekly events.

Animated short opens preview cycle

Four original shorts, co-produced by Epic Games and Gracie Films, premiere weekly. The first, “TheD’oh apocalypse”, launches on November 1st and anticipates map updates.

Available on Disney+, Fortnite social channels and the quests tab, the episodes last around five minutes each.

“Sugar High” follows on November 10, focusing on sweet item mechanics. “Multiplidiocy” arrives on November 17th, with an emphasis on multiple sidekicks. “The Incredible Bulk” closes on November 24th, revealing hazards based on muscle mass.

Integration with other modes expands content

Rocket League gets limited challenges with Simpsons-themed rewards. In Lego Fortnite mode, skins take the form of minifigures for creative builds.

Fortnite Delulu incorporates Simpsons gameplay on opening weekend.

Exclusive rewards encourage participation

Weekly quests unlock emotes and backblings inspired by classic phrases from the series. A free victory royale offers the themed glider to all participants.

  • Requirements for alien glider: Account linking by 11/15.
  • Wrap via Twitch: 30 minutes of viewing from 4:30 pm.
  • Free Pass: Starting levels with basic Springfield items.

The season reinforces the Fortnite ecosystem with crossovers that mix animated narratives and multiplayer action, ensuring continuous updatesopen until the end of November.
