Mercedes-Benz presented the sixth generation of the Classe C in an all-electric version. The sedan uses the new MB.EA platform and will coexist with the combustion model on the market. The brand confirmed the arrival of the Brasil in the first half of 2027.

The initial highlight is the C400 4Matic Electric configuration. Dois electric motors deliver 489 hp of combined power. The traction is all-wheel drive. The set allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 94 kWh. In the WLTP cycle, the autonomy reaches 762 km. The 800-volt architecture supports direct current charging above 300 kW. With this, the car recovers around 325 km of range in just 10 minutes.

Design external features illuminated grille and more robust lines

The front features a grille with 1,050 points of light. Faróis LEDs follow star shape. The rear adopts Gran Turismo style with a sporty feel. Rodas vary between 18 and 20 inches depending on the package chosen.

The drag coefficient dropped to 0.22 cx. The reduction came from the body with a coupe profile. Esse detail helps with energy efficiency and autonomy.

  • Star Signature LED Faróis
  • Rodas 18 to 20 inches
  • 0.22 cx drag Coeficiente
  • Estilo rear inspired by Gran Turismo

The total length reaches 4.75 meters. The wheelbase is close to 2.90 meters. Esses numbers increase internal space. The trunk has 470 liters. Há still 101 liters in the front compartment.

Interior gains optional set of screens that total almost 40 inches

The cabin’s biggest attraction is the optional MBUX Hyperscreen system. Ele forms an integrated 39.1-inch assembly. The 18-inch head-up display brings the total screen size to 57 inches.

The panoramic roof features a starry sky projection with 162 points of light. The MBUX virtual assistant uses artificial intelligence to maintain conversations and execute commands. The system includes up to 27 cameras and sensors for the MB.Drive Assist assistance package.

Pneumatic Suspensão appears as an option. The rear axle can steer up to 4.5 degrees. Esse feature reduces the turning radius and facilitates maneuvers in the city.

The integrated braking system optimizes energy recovery. Ele helps maintain high autonomy even in urban or highway use.

Plataforma MB.EA prioritizes efficiency and fast recharge

The 800-volt architecture allows for fast charging. At compatible stations, the sedan gains hundreds of kilometers in a few minutes. Mercedes indicated that other battery options will arrive from 2027. One of them should offer rear-wheel drive and a range of close to 800 km.

The focus is on energy efficiency. Baixa aerodynamic resistance and intelligent energy recovery are part of the design. The brand did not disclose prices for the electric version. No Brasil, the combustion Classe C starts at R$ 396,990 in the C200 version and can reach R$ 906,900 in the C 63 S Performance.
