Xiaomi is preparing the return of its Mix line to the European market. The Mix 5, under development, will be the first model in the series to arrive globally since the Mix 3, launched in 2019. The Chinese manufacturer maintained the line as an innovation laboratory, testing technologies that later define trends in the sector.
The series’ hiatus lasted more than half a decade. Agora, based on internal database leaks, Mix 5 is expected to receive approval for international distribution, including Europa. The decision marks a strategic change: Xiaomi is confident that its innovations have reached sufficient maturity to compete outside of China.
Câmera integrated screen eliminates visible cutout
The big difference of the Mix 5 is the absence of a notch or camera hole. The front camera is completely invisible, integrated under the OLED panel. Previous Geraçõess of this technology suffered from loss of image quality and visible ghosting on the screen.
Xiaomi claims to have solved both problems for commercial scale. The result is a seamless visual experience, without interruptions. Este feature keeps Apple still out of the market with equivalent technology implemented.
The leaks indicate advanced technical specifications:
- Main Câmera with magnetic lens for superior stabilization
- Processador Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or successor (Qualcomm)
- Flexibilidade increased focus on front camera
- Screen Tecnologia without visible interruptions
Mix returns as a showcase of innovation
The Mix series has always served as a testing ground for the Xiaomi. The first Mix introduced nearly borderless design and set the visual standard. Later Lançamentos brought innovative cameras and experimental technologies.
A global feedback signals that the manufacturer considers the under-screen camera ready for international competition. Para users in Europe and other regions means access to an innovation that competitors like Samsung and Apple do not yet offer on a commercial scale. The Mix 5 arrives at a strategic moment: when technological differentiation matters more than production volume.
