The game offers a global setting, with five major cities to explore: London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and Amsterdam. An exclusive technology, called “PIGEON-SIM TECH”, is responsible for managing hundreds of thousands, and even millions, of virtual pigeons that fly autonomously through the skies of these metropolises in real time.
Participants must fly through cities, approaching other pigeons and using their “calls” to try to find the ideal partner. Although many interactions result in brief rejections, some birds can offer valuable clues to advance the search.
An interesting feature is that many of the negative responses are unique messages, created and sent by members of the gaming community. Furthermore, the title incorporates the “Talk to the Pigeon” function, which allows users to use their own microphones to simulate courtship calls.
Multiplayer mode and procedural city expansion
The game also offers a cooperative multiplayer mode for up to eight participants, who can help each other in the search for soulmates or compete to see who finds them first in the vast urban landscape. There is also a system for unlocking procedurally generated cities upon finishing the main campaign, ensuring continuous aerial exploration.
