Lionsgate released this Thursday (20) the first trailer for Jogos Vorazes: Amanhecer on Colheita, the new film in the franchise based on the book Sunrise on the Reaping, by Suzanne Collins. The production, which premieres on November 20, 2026, features Joseph Zada as the young Haymitch Abernathy, Katniss’s mentor in the original films, during the 50th edition of Jogos Vorazes0, known as Jogos Vorazes1. Jogos Vorazes2 24 years before the Jogos Vorazes3 saga, the film shows the brutal competition with 48 tributes, double the usual number. The official poster was also revealed, highlighting the arena described as one of the most lethal in Jogos Vorazes4 history.

Elle Fanning, Effie Trinket’s performer, expressed enthusiasm for the project, praising the costumes and the Francis Lawrence director. The trailer, shown at CinemaCon 2025, features images from the arena and behind the scenes, focusing on Haymitch’s journey. Production, which began in July 2025, has locations on Escócia and Canadá.
