Communication between tennis player and coach is allowed during breaks, and electronic marking completely replaces line judges.
Some of these rules have already been incorporated into the main circuit, such as coaching and hawk-eye live.
João Fonseca seeks second championship
Current number 49 in the world rankings at 18 years old, João Fonseca arrives as the current champion and the main Brazilian name in the new generation.
The Rio native won the 2024 edition undefeated and became the first South American to lift the trophy.
The official list of eight classifieds will be released after the end of the ATP regular season.
Jeddah hosts the event for the fourth year
The Saudi capital has hosted Next Gen Finals since 2023, after stints at Milão (2017-2022).
The tournament is part of the long-term agreement between the ATP and the Ministério of the Esporte of the Arábia Saudita, which also brought the ATP Finals to the country from 2026.
The King Abdullah Sports City arena will once again be the venue for the matches.
