The company responsible for the lawn has been providing services to Conmebol for more than eight years. The same team played in the 2019 final, when Flamengo beat River Plate, but on that occasion they only had two weeks for repairs.
Professionals also look after 12 of the 20 clubs in Série A, Brasileirão and Granja Comary, the CBF training center. The current diagnosis indicates better quality delivery compared to the previous decision.
Latest tests and team recognition
The final performance test of the lawn is scheduled for Friday morning. At night, Palmeiras and Flamengo will officially reconnoitre the camp.
