Complete timetables with local time zone
The event takes place at night time of Doha to take advantage of milder temperatures. The difference of six hours ahead of Brasília significantly changes the schedule for the Brazilian public.
- Free training 1: 10:30 am (Brasília) – 4:30 pm (Doha)
- Sprint classification: 2:30 pm (Brasília) – 8:30 pm (Doha)
Scenarios for defining the title
Norris wins the championship if he leaves Qatar with a lead of 25 points or more. A second place in the sprint and main race, combined with average results from rivals, already guarantees the trophy.
Verstappen and Piastri need to win both the sprint and the main race. Any point lost by both makes the mission practically impossible.
Route and history in Lusail
The circuit is 5,419 meters long and has 16 curves, with a main race of 57 laps. Artificial lighting allows for starts in the local late afternoon.
Max Verstappen won the two previous editions held at the track. Lando

The result of the sprint influences the starting order of the main race only indirectly. Quickly adapting to the illuminated track makes the hour-long free practice even more crucial.
