How Dupla Sena works
Dupla Sena offers two chances to win with a single bet. The player selects 6 to 15 numbers from the 50 available and competes in two consecutive draws.
The minimum bet costs R$3.00. Quanto more numbers marked, the higher the ticket value and the better the chances.
The draws take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, always at 9pm. The lottery allocates 43% of the proceeds to prizes in the two draws.
Detailed prize rules
In the first draw, 30% of the value allocated to prizes goes to the sena, 10% to the quina, 8% to the court and 4% to the suit.
In the second draw, the Sena receives 11%, the Quina 9%, the Quadra 8% and the Terno 4%. The remainder accumulates for special contests or follows specific rules of Caixa.
Available betting options
Players can opt for Surpresinha, when the system chooses the numbers automatically, or Teimosinha, which repeats the same bet for up to 12 consecutive contests.
Betting with seven numbers costs R$21.00 and increases the chance of winning to one in 2,270,100. With 15 numbers, the value reaches R$15,015.00 and the probability drops to one in 3,174.
