The Powerball draw this Monday, December 8, 2025, offers a jackpot estimated at US$875 million. The event takes place at 10:59 pm EST (12:59 am on Tuesday at Brasília time) and will be broadcast live on Estados Unidos. Nenhum ticket matched six tens in Saturday’s contest, which led to a new accumulation of the main prize.
The American lottery holds draws three times a week, always on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The current value places Powerball among the biggest prizes in the world again in 2025.
How the Powerball draw works
Players choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball from 1 to 26. The jackpot is only paid when someone matches all six numbers.
Option Power Play, which costs extra, multiplies secondary prizes by up to 10 times. The 10x multiplier only comes into play when the jackpot is below $150 million.
Current jackpot value
The jackpot started at US$20 million and accumulates with each draw without a winner. The amount of US$875 million refers to the payment option in 30 annual installments.
Those who opt for the single payment receive an estimated value of around US$408.8 million before federal and state taxes.
Next steps after the draw
The drawn numbers are released minutes after 10:59 pm EST on official channels and specialized websites. Tickets can be purchased up to minutes before the draw time at authorized points in the USA.
Authorized online platforms allow participation from other countries through the purchase of official tickets by local representatives.

Ways to participate from abroad

Secondary prizes are credited directly to the online account. Jackpots require in-person pick-up, with support from the contracted company.
Powerball award categories
The lottery has nine prize tiers. Acertar only Powerball guarantees $4.
Secondary prizes range from $4 (Powerball only) up to $1 million (five white numbers without Powerball). Com Power Play activated, the second prize can reach $2 million.
