Xiaomi officially launched the global launch of the Electric Scooter 6 Lite, its newest electric scooter designed to optimize mobility in urban centers. The model arrives as a more affordable alternative within the line, but without giving up a reinforced structure and intelligent features that promise to facilitate everyday travel. The main focus of the vehicle is users who make short journeys and are looking for a practical and efficient transport solution.
Equipped with a high-strength carbon steel chassis, the scooter supports a maximum load of up to 100 kg, ensuring durability for continuous use. With a total weight of approximately 18.1 kg, the design was designed to facilitate manual transport on stairs or integration with other means of public transport, such as subways and buses. The recommended height for drivers varies between 1.40 m and 2 m, making it accessible to a wide profile of users.
One of the highlights of the Electric Scooter 6 Lite is its resistance certification. The body of the scooter has an IPX4 rating, while the battery has IPX6 protection. Essas certifications ensure protection against water splashes and light rain, increasing the reliability and useful life of the equipment in different climatic conditions found in the urban environment.
Design and construction focused on practicality
The design of the Scooter 6 Lite balances robustness and portability. The carbon steel structure offers the necessary stability for safe driving, without adding excessive weight, and the quick folding system allows the scooter to be stored compactly in a few seconds.
Visually, the model follows the minimalist line characteristic of Xiaomi products, with a matte black finish that gives a modern and discreet look, in addition to being resistant to small scratches. The handlebars integrate a digital panel that displays essential information such as speed, riding mode and battery level.
Engine and performance for the city
The heart of the scooter is a brushless motor with Hall-effect technology, which delivers a nominal power of 300 W and can reach peaks of up to 500 W. Essa configuration allows the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h, in compliance with most cycle path regulations.
This performance is sufficient to face slopes of up to 15%, an important feature for cities with varied topography. The engine is designed to operate at a low noise level, which contributes to a more pleasant and less disruptive riding experience in residential areas.
The throttle response is progressive, ensuring precise control at both low and high speeds, and traction remains consistent even when the vehicle operates close to its load limit.
Improved riding comfort
One of the main differences of the Electric Scooter 6 Lite is the double front suspension system, which has a travel of 25 mm. Esse mechanism is designed to efficiently absorb impacts caused by common irregularities in the asphalt, such as holes and patches.
Complementing the suspension, the scooter is equipped with 10-inch pneumatic tires. The larger Pneus with an air chamber significantly improves traction and stability, as well as contributing to a smoother ride on different types of urban surfaces.
The deck, the area where the driver places his feet, is wide and offers enough space for a comfortable posture throughout the journey. The height of the handlebars has been ergonomically calculated to suit the height range recommended for users.
The combination of these elements results in a notably more comfortable riding experience when compared to scooter models that do not have suspension, reducing the vibration transmitted to the driver and making daily commutes less tiring.
Safety and braking systems
Safety is a crucial aspect in urban mobility vehicles, and the Scooter 6 Lite adopts a combined braking system. On the front wheel, there is a drum brake, known for its durability and efficiency, while the rear wheel has the E-ABS system (electronic anti-lock brake), which prevents the wheel from blocking during sudden stops and helps with energy recovery.
For nighttime visibility, the scooter is equipped with a 2.5 W front headlight, capable of illuminating the path for up to 15 meters. At the rear, a warning light flashes automatically during braking, signaling the maneuver to other vehicles and pedestrians. Refletores sides complement the set, increasing the scooter’s visibility in low light conditions.
Battery and driving modes
The autonomy of the Electric Scooter 6 Lite is guaranteed by a ternary lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 216 Wh. On a full charge, the vehicle can travel up to 25 km, a distance that meets most daily commuting needs, such as getting to and from work or university. Essa range may vary depending on factors such as the driver’s weight, the type of terrain, the ambient temperature and the selected driving mode. Full battery recharge time takes between 6 and 8 hours. Para optimizes the use of energy, the scooter offers three different driving modes, which can be easily switched via the panel: the Modo Pedestre limits the speed to 6 km/h, ideal for areas with a large movement of people; the Modo Padrão (D) reaches up to 15 km/h, balancing performance and consumption; and the Modo Esportivo (S) allows a maximum speed of 25 km/h for sections where it is safe to accelerate.
Connectivity and application functions
The scooter connects via Bluetooth to the Xiaomi Home application, available for smartphones with iOS and Android systems. Através of the app, the user has access to a complete control panel, which allows them to monitor the vehicle’s condition in detail, consult travel history, check the precise battery level and receive recommendations, such as the ideal tire pressure. Além In addition, the application offers extra safety features, such as remote engine locking, and allows you to perform firmware updates to keep the scooter always with the latest features.
Availability and expectations for the market
Xiaomi has not yet provided an exact date for the arrival of the Electric Scooter 6 Lite to the Brazilian market, nor the official launch price. Contudo, based on the brand’s previous launches, the model is expected to arrive in the country in the coming months, both through official channels and independent importers. The price positioning must be competitive, placing it below the most advanced models in the 6 line, such as the Scooter 6 and 6 Max, reinforcing its appeal as an excellent cost-benefit option for sustainable urban mobility.
