Event details Galaxy Unpacked

Choosing the end of February strategically positions Samsung on the global technology calendar, ensuring media and consumer attention at the beginning of the year. The date allows new devices to hit shelves before launches by other important competitors, capitalizing on initial interest.

The event will be broadcast live around the world through Samsung’s official digital platforms, including its YouTube channel and institutional website. Essa global approach allows technology enthusiasts and potential buyers to follow all the news and demonstrations in real time, regardless of geographic location.

The expected models of the Galaxy S26 family

The new line was designed to meet different consumer profiles, with variations in size and specifications. The Galaxy S26 will serve as the entry-level model in the series, featuring a 6.3-inch screen, ideal for those looking for a powerful device, but with more compact dimensions.

Mid-range in the family, the Galaxy S26+ will come equipped with a 6.7-inch display, offering a balance between a large viewing area for media consumption and portability for everyday use. Este model is usually the choice for those who want a larger screen without investing in the most advanced model.

As usual, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the highlight, incorporating the most advanced technologies available. Espera maintains the titanium finish for greater durability and a sophisticated design, in addition to preserving support for the S Pen, consolidating itself as a productivity tool.

Performance and new processors

The heart of the Galaxy S26 series will be split between two next-generation chipsets, a strategy that the Samsung has adopted for years. Para specific markets, such as the Estados Unidos, the devices will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a platform that promises significant leaps in processing power and energy efficiency.

This new Qualcomm chip was developed with a focus on generative artificial intelligence tasks, allowing many operations to be performed directly on the device, without the need for constant connection to the cloud. Isso results in greater speed and privacy for the user.

In other regions, including parts of Europa and Ásia, Samsung will use its proprietary processor, the Exynos 2600. The company has invested heavily to ensure its chip delivers competitive performance, with notable improvements in Unidade and Processamento Neural (NPU) to accelerate AI functions.

To support the new hardware, all models in the S26 line will come with 12 GB of RAM as standard, ensuring more fluid multitasking and running demanding applications without difficulties. The initial internal storage will also be increased, starting from 256 GB in the basic configuration.

Advances in the camera suite

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will receive an important update to its ultra-wide lens, which will now feature a 50 megapixel sensor. Essa change should result in sharper, more detailed images in wider scenes, capturing more information and offering greater flexibility for edits. The optical zoom system, one of the trademarks of the Ultra version, will also undergo optimizations to provide greater stability and clarity over long distances, in addition to improving the ability to record videos in 8K resolution with greater fluidity.

The Galaxy S26 and S26+ models will not be left behind, maintaining a 50-megapixel main sensor capable of producing high-quality photos in various lighting conditions. The main improvement in these devices will be in image post-processing, which will directly benefit from the power of the new Snapdragon and Exynos chips. Recursos like enhanced night mode, more precise portrait mode cropping and AI-based editing tools will be available, making the camera system versatile and highly competitive in its segment.

Improved battery and charging technology

Battery life was a central focus in the development of the new range, with each model receiving capabilities suited to its size and power consumption. The Galaxy S26 will be equipped with an approximately 4,300 mAh cell, while the S26+ will have a 4,900 mAh battery, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a robust 5,000 mAh battery, designed to withstand a full day of intense use. Todos models will support 45W fast wired charging, allowing for efficient recharges. One of the most anticipated new features is the implementation of the Qi2 wireless charging standard, especially in the Ultra model. Essa technology uses magnets for perfect alignment with the charger, ensuring greater efficiency and avoiding energy losses, in addition to opening doors to an ecosystem of magnetic accessories, similar to what already exists in other brands.

New accessories and ecosystem integration

Along with smartphones, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro headphones. Espera The new models are expected to offer superior audio quality, more effective active noise cancellation (ANC) and a more compact and ergonomic design, improving the immersive sound experience and integration with new cell phones.
