Based on the already impressive Artura Spider, the convertible hybrid supercar combines a twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric drive, delivering exceptional performance. The special edition raises the level of exclusivity with manual finishes and collectible items that make it a desirable piece for enthusiasts and collectors.

Exclusive design that takes us back to the slopes

The look of the MCL39 Championship Edition was designed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the brand’s customization division. The bodywork features a color combination of Myan Orange and Onyx Black, applied manually to ensure a fluid and precise transition that highlights the vehicle’s aerodynamic lines.

To complement the color scheme, the model includes Black Pack, which adds blacked-out finishes to several exterior parts. The ten-spoke Dynamo forged wheels are painted in gloss black, housing brake calipers in McLaren’s iconic orange color.

One of the most significant details are the ten hand-painted emblems located in front of the rear wheels. Cada one of these symbols represents one of the team’s constructors’ titles, with graphic elements such as laurels and stars that celebrate specific victories throughout the team’s history.

The visual package is completed by a sports exhaust system with black outlets, which not only contributes to the aggressive aesthetics, but also enhances the sound of the V6 engine, providing an even more engaging driving experience.

Direct tribute to the champion car MCL39

The nomenclature of the special edition was not chosen at random. The name MCL39 is a direct reference to the chassis code of the single-seater that dominated the 2025 season of the Fórmula 1. Foi with this car that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri accumulated victories and crucial points, ensuring that the team returned to the top of the category after a long period of reconstruction and development.

Inside the vehicle, the connection with the drivers is even more evident. The door sills have been extended with carbon fiber pieces that feature the original hand-engraved signatures of Norris and Piastri. Next to each autograph are the drivers’ respective race numbers: 4 for Norris and 81 for Piastri, a touch that personalizes each of the ten units.

Interior with high performance finish

The cabin of the Artura Spider MCL39 has been designed to reflect a focus on performance and exclusivity. The seats are mostly covered in black Alcantara, a lightweight material that offers excellent grip, while contrasting orange stitching runs through the interior with a precise pattern, echoing the external visual identity.

On the headrests, an embroidery with the number 10 in McLaren Orange symbolizes the tenth constructors’ title. Além In addition, dedicated plaques on the center console and elsewhere in the cabin list important statistics from the victorious season, such as the number of poles, victories and fastest laps achieved by the team.

Hybrid power and supercar performance

The heart of the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition maintains the sophisticated powertrain of the standard model, which already stands out as one of the most advanced in its category. The centrally positioned 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine works in perfect harmony with an axial-flow electric motor. Juntos, they deliver a combined power of 690 horsepower and a torque of 720 Nm, guaranteeing impressive acceleration and immediate responses. Power is managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission that directs it to the rear wheels, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. The carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a McLaren signature, ensures high structural rigidity and contained weight, even in the convertible version, which translates into agility and precision in curves. Top speed is electronically limited to 330 km/h.

Legacy and McLaren’s return to the top

The 2025 season was a milestone for McLaren in Fórmula 1, representing the consolidation of a restructuring project that took years. The victorious campaign was the result of continuous development of the car, with aerodynamic and mechanical updates that allowed the team to surpass its main rivals.

Lando Norris, with six wins, and Oscar Piastri, with seven wins, formed a consistent and mature duo. The drivers’ performance, combined with well-executed race strategies and efficient pit stops, was essential to guarantee the points needed for the championship.

This tenth title not only rewarded the work of engineers, mechanics and the entire team in Woking, but also solidified McLaren’s position as a dominant force on the current grid, rekindling the flame of one of the most traditional and successful brands in motorsport.

Production and exclusivity of the edition

McLaren has confirmed that availability of the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition is extremely restricted. Todas the ten units were destined for loyal customers and collectors pre-selected by the brand, and the company did not disclose the official transaction values.

As a reference, the standard Artura Spider has a starting price of approximately 273 thousand dollars in the North American market, a value that is certainly surpassed by the commemorative edition. Construction of each example takes place at McLaren’s facilities in Woking, in Inglaterra, with deliveries scheduled for the coming months.

Cutting-edge embedded technology

In addition to the powertrain, the supercar is equipped with cutting-edge technologies to ensure elite performance. The carbon-ceramic braking system offers exceptional stopping capacity, while the adaptive suspension reacts in milliseconds to road conditions, allowing the driver to switch between driving modes that prioritize comfort or maximum performance on the track.
