Nubia officially expanded its line of mobile devices globally with the launch of the RedMagic 11 Air, a device that seeks to redefine portability in the high-performance segment. The model arrives on the international market with the proposal to combine robust technical specifications with a chassis that is significantly thinner and lighter than its direct competitors, meeting a growing demand for ergonomics in prolonged use sessions.

Advanced processing and hardware architecture

The device’s performance is ensured by the Snapdragon 8 The system is complemented by LPDDR5X RAM memory options of up to 16 GB and UFS 4.1 internal storage that reaches 512 GB, ensuring speed in reading and writing data.

Benchmark tests and practical use demonstrate that the hardware set can maintain fluidity in demanding titles, sustaining high frames per second rates with minimal variation. The internal architecture is designed to support intense multitasking, allowing the user to switch between heavy applications without loss of performance.

Ergonomic design and cooling system

The construction of the device stands out for its thickness of just 7.85 millimeters and weight of 207 grams, unusual characteristics for the gamer category. The structure uses an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame and durable glass, providing durability and a modern aesthetic, available in Phantom and Prism variants. The back maintains the brand’s visual identity with transparencies that reveal internal components and adjustable RGB lighting.

To manage heat in a compact body, the manufacturer implemented ICE Cooling technology. The system combines a high-speed physical fan, operating at 24,000 RPM, with an enlarged vapor chamber and materials such as graphene. Essa active thermal solution works to dissipate heat generated by the chipset, preventing overheating and resulting thermal throttling during continuous use.

Display and power autonomy

The visual interface is provided by a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel offers a maximum brightness of 1800 nits, making it easier to view in strong sunlight, and eliminates cutouts by positioning the front camera under the display, resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of 95.1%.

Energy management is supported by a high-density battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. The component supports 80W fast charging and includes bypass power functionality, which allows the device to be used connected to the socket without charging the battery, reducing heat generation.

Availability and global prices

The start of open sales is scheduled for February 11th, with prices varying depending on the region and memory configuration chosen. The pricing strategy positions the model aggressively in key Western markets:

  • States Unidos:US$529 (12GB/256GB) and US$629 (16GB/512GB);
  • Europe:€499 (base version) and €599 (advanced version);
  • Kingdom Unido:£439 and £529 respectively;
  • Mexico:Mex$10,999 and Mex$12,999.

The device also has additional features such as shoulder triggers with 520 Hz response, 5G connectivity, tri-band Wi-Fi and a rear camera array led by a 50 MP sensor with optical stabilization.
